Children's dentist in Omaha, Nebraska
A dentist visit your kid might actually look forward to.
We only see children ages 3 to 13. The chairs, the tools, the words we use and the pace we keep are all set for them. Cleanings, extractions, cosmetic work and surgery happen here, in one office your child gets to know.
The first visit can be a tour. No tools come out until your child says okay.
We say what we're about to do, in kid words, before we do it.
You get a plain answer about what we saw and what to do at home.
What we do
Four kinds of care, all sized for small mouths
Most kids come to us twice a year for a cleaning. When something more is needed, we handle it here instead of sending you across town.

Dental cleaning
A gentle scrape, a polish in the flavor your child picks, fluoride, and a look at every tooth. Usually every six months.
About cleanings 2Tooth extraction
For baby teeth that won't let go and teeth too damaged to save. We numb well, work quickly, and send you home with a care sheet.
About extractions 3Cosmetic dentistry
Tooth-colored fillings, bonding for a chipped front tooth after a fall off the monkey bars, and fixes for stained or uneven teeth.
About cosmetic care 4Surgery
Tongue and lip tie releases, teeth stuck under the gums, and other procedures, done in our office with you close by.
About surgery
Every tool gets a name and a quick demo before it goes near a tooth.
First visit
What happens the first time you come in
Say hello
Your child meets us, picks out sunglasses for the bright light, and rides the chair up and down.
Count teeth
We count out loud. Your child can hold the mirror and watch.
Clean and polish
Only if they're ready. If not, we stop there and try next time.

What we saw, what to work on at home, and when to come back.
Parent questions
What parents ask us most
What age should my child first come in?
We see children from age 3. If your child is older and has never been to a dentist, that's fine. The first visit is mostly about getting comfortable.
Can I stay in the room?
Yes, every time. Some kids want a hand to hold. Some want to show you how brave they are. You know your child, so you decide.
My child is scared. Will you push them?
No. If your child needs to stop, we stop. Sometimes a first visit is a chair ride and a tooth count, and that's a good visit.
What if there's a dental emergency?
Call us at [PHONE NUMBER] right away. If an adult tooth gets knocked out, put it in a cup of milk and come straight in.
Book your child's visit
